Friends of Schoodic Needs Your Time and Money

Friends of Schoodic depends entirely on voluntary contributions of time and money to support its work to preserve and protect Acadia National Park on the Schoodic Peninsula.

If you would like to volunteer your time, the best way to get started is by attending the regular, monthly FOS meetings. We meet the second Wednesday of every month on the SERC campus at Schoodic Point. For details about time and location, see the information about the upcoming meeting on this website. The meetings are a great way to find out about our current projects and about where the organization is in greatest need of volunteer help.

Friends of Schoodic also needs your financial support. Donated funds are used in support of park programs such as the science education program for local school-age children and for special projects associated with the Schoodic District of the Park. Friends of Schoodic is a committee of Friends of Acadia, which is a charitable organization as defined in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code.

If you would like to make a financial contribution to Friends of Schoodic, make your check out to Friends of Acadia (our parent organization) and mail it to:
